Seniors - East Area Twenty20 Champions
Lewes Priory end Crowhurst Park's 10 year reign to become East Area Twenty20 Champions.

(Back row l-r: Imran Khan, Elliot Hogan, Chris Turrell, Joe Warren, Nick Seager, Paul Holiday
Front row l-r: Brad Hambly, Chris Baker (capt), Adam Scott, Jacob Lee, Michael Murray)

Crowhurst Park 81 all out (14.1 overs)
Lewes Priory 83 for 6 (17.1 overs)

The tone for this low scoring encounter was set when Joe Warren struck in the first over. Wickets tumbled consistently as every Priory bowler picked up a wicket.

Adam Scott's return from injury was marked with a caught and bowled off his first ball and Michael Murray proved to be as accurate as ever, bowling one and trapping two leg before. The only resistance came from Chris Philcox 26 and Martin Menezes 24.

Not to be outdone, Crowhurst Park's bowling attack struck back immediately by dismissing Imran Khan without scoring. Fellow opener, Elliot Hogan and skipper Chris Baker kept the score ticking over leaving Brad Hambly time for a quick cameo and to hit the winning boundary with nearly 3 overs remaining.
